The CCNA qualification is a highly regarded credential for IT support staff and network administrators.
There is now an entry-level certification – Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) – of the knowledge and skill to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. The CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.
Aims and Objectives
Upon completion of these courses, the student will have enough knowledge in preparation for Cisco CCNA Exam 640-822 and Exam 640-816
Target Audiences
This course is intended for network administrators and technicians, new to Cisco products and services, which are responsible for implementing and managing small and medium business networks.
Prerequisites
You should have a basic knowledge of PC configuration consistent with having gained A+ certification. Prior networking experience is desirable but not essential.
