If you are already a PA or are in the secretarial profession and want to be at the top of you game then the Executive Plus Diploma can accelerate you into a top role with management responsibilities. A PA at this level will need to have advanced IT skills, possess shorthand and accounting skills and have highest standards of integrity. The role of a senior Executive Assistant is to provide a dynamic, efficient and fully professional service. This important and key role is both demanding and challenging, and will require confidence, accountability, flexibility as well as highly effective communication and interpersonal skills. The individual must be highly organised and have the ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities within demanding and tight timescales. The PA at this level has management responsibilities with the highest standards of integrity; is one step ahead and has the ability to effectively organise others. The executive assistant will need to have advanced IT skills and the use of shorthand with accounting are excellent skills that will give you the extra advantage in securing the role that is highly valued, well paid, interesting and rewarding. The Pitman Training Executive Plus Diploma will give you essential skills to take you to the top. You will learn up to date Microsoft Office applications, get up to speed with the latest accounting packages and learn the more traditional secretarial skills including touch-typing and shorthand. In addition, you can enhance your business skills through one day seminars and specific professional training giving you everything you will need to excel in this role. Learning these skills is easy with Pitman Training. Our tried and trusted methods are the best available. You will work at your own pace in our comfortable premises, helped by experienced tutors as required. You choose your own hours and keep the reference materials when the course is over. On completion, you will receive a Pitman Training Diploma that is recognised nationally and internationally by employers. Successful completion of all the book-keeping courses will give you the opportunity to achieve either OCR and/or IAB Level 2 qualifications (additional home study is recommended).

Guideline Learning Time
18 weeks’ full-time or 520 hours’ flexi study (with shorthand)
15 weeks’ full-time or 460 hours’ flexi study (without shorthand)
(full-time is based on approx 20-30 hours a week)
Our flexible learning method allows you to take up to 12 months to complete a diploma.
