Pitman Training offers supportive, flexible training options to individuals looking to return to work, change career or move up their own career ladder, and to companies looking to upskill and re-invigorate their workforce.
We offer a wide range of Diploma courses which include an Introduction to Office Skills, Secretarial Diploma, to more specific courses for Legal and Medical Secretaries, Executive PA, introduction to Finance and Accounting Technicians Diplomas and also a Returners to Work Diploma.
We also offer a range of courses that cover Book Keeping, Sage, Microsoft, Get into HR or Marketing, Shorthand, Audio Transcript and HTML.
You can study part-time or full-time and start anytime that suits you. All our courses are modular so you can learn at your own pace and at times that suit you. Plus, there is always someone on hand to give you some support should you need it.
Our location is right in the city centre in Great Victoria Street, opposite the bus and train station and there are several car parks are close by.

Easter Holidays
The centre will close at 5pm on the 4th April 2012 and re-open on the 12th April.
Opening hours for: -

- Friday 13th April 9am-5pm
Any calls to the centre directly will still be answered by our switchboard.
Coffee Mornings and Evenings
The coffee events in April are: -
- Friday 13th April 11am - 1pm
- Wednesday 18th April 5.30pm - 7.30pm
- Friday 27th April 2.30pm - 4.30pm
Everyone is welcome to come along and chat to other students and bring a friend or colleague who might be interested in one of our courses.
We are continuing with our coffee evenings as an alternative to the morning events, as this will give those of you who might have wanted to come along, but due to work or other commitments have been unable to.
If you are unable to come along to one of our events, but would still to know more about Pitman Training, then please contact us to arrange a suitable time, and we would be delighted to see you and introduce you to the Pitman Training Diplomas and courses that we have available. You can have that cup of coffee along with a chat to an advisor and have a demo of one of the modules.

Competition Winner Update
Lyn Palmer our competition winner from the “Go get that Job” Week at the end of last year has already completed her first module of her Business IT with Marketing and PR Diploma, and we will keep you up to date with her progress.
Student of the Month Program
Our student of the Month program has started again and we are delighted to announce our results for January and February. We will be running the program throughout the rest of the year.
The Student of the Month for January went to Aoife Robinson, who is completing her Admin Assistant Diploma, and February’s went to William Cameron who has already completed his ECDL and is working on completing his Business IT Diploma.
