Pitman Training in Forres is centrally located on the main high street in Forres. There are free parking facilities at the back of the training centre and also at the back of the Co-Op which is just opposite us.
The Forres Training Centre is run by Training Manager Lindsay McDonald. Lindsay has over 6 years recruitment and HR experience and has a good relationship with recruitment agencies in the area so knows what skills local employers are keenest on and what skills are in demand. We also have Douglas McPherson who has been our Training Supervisor for over 3 years. Douglas and Lindsay are both on hand to answer any questions that you may have.

People who attend the Job Club can share job hunting experiences, get hints and tips with CV and cover letters and discuss training opportunities. Funded training for businesses in Scotland
Skills Development Scotland recently announced the introduction of Flexible Training Opportunities. The Flexible Training Opportunities programme gives Scottish businesses (1-50 employees) the opportunity to apply for up to £500 towards each employee training costs – restricted to a maximum of 10 employees per company.

£200 ILA funding available
All of our courses are eligible for ILA funding of £200. If you earn less than £22,000 per year, live in Scotland and are over 16 years old then you will be eligible for ILA funding of £200 to help towards the price of your training.
