FREE AMSPAR exam entry – the Medical Secretary qualification
As an AMSPAR testing centre, here at Pitman Training Hemel Hepstead, we run exams for the AMSPAR Level 2 Award in Medical Terminology and the Level 3 Certificate twice a year. To further enhance your Achievement Portfolio as a Medical Secretary Diploma student you will be offered free entry onto one of these AMSPAR exams on completion of your Medical Secretary Introduction module.
FREE IAB exam entry – Pitman Training Accounting Technician students
As an IAB testing centre, here at Pitman Training Hemel Hempstead, we are able to run ‘on demand’ IAB exams for the throughout the year. To further enhance your Achievement Portfolio as a Pitman Accounting Technician Diploma student you will be offered free entry onto the IAB Book keeping Level 2 exam on completion of your studies.

Pitman Training Hemel Hempstead responds to local needs
Since January 2009 Pitman Training Hemel Hempstead has been working with a variety of partner organisations to help local people affected by redundancy. Over that time we have helped nearly 300 people through ESF and Skills Funding Agency funding to get back into work quickly through retraining or updating their skills.
Agnese was one of those learners we have been able help through a funded programme called ‘Response to Redundancy’. Using this funding Agnese was able to receive a contribution towards a her learning plan focusing on Book-keeping and Accountancy. We recently received this email from Agnese:
“I have some fantastic news! I have found a job and I am starting in two weeks and all because of all you and your team’s help! I will be an Accounts Assistant in Hammersmith (London). The course I did in Manual Bookkeeping, Sage and Excel, was a great advantage towards getting the offer. I do not know how to thank you. It was a great place to study; I have enjoyed every minute while doing the course!!! Again, thank you for everything!”
