About Our Training Centre
Pitman Training is conveniently located on the A2 at Enterprise Zone, Whitfield. The training centre is a single-storey building with free parking on site. There is local access to cafes and supermarkets within a 1-mile radius. We are proud to have been very much a part of the local business community since the mid-1990’s and look forward to supporting career changes and skills development for many years to come.
Every person who contacts us about becoming a student is invited for a face-to-face meeting so that you can see the centre, meet the team, and find out how best we can help you. Whether you are looking for a promotion, to improve your IT skills, changing direction, or starting a new challenge, we have the tailored and individual approach you need to help you move forward.
All our students receive expert support while they are studying with us. We also AAT, ICDL, and Cilex exams so it really is a one-stop shop. We also offer the following services included in your training.

Our location is off the A2 at Whitfield Roundabout. There is free onsite parking available at The Enterprise Zone. This is situated at the first left exit on Honeywood Road, Dover CT16 3EH.
The local bus route is number 61 from Dover.
Opening Times
In order to make the training sessions available to customers who are working during the week, there is an opportunity to attend the centre on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. These sessions must be booked in advance as they do not run every week.

Paula Elliott – Berelia Ltd Director and diploma advisor
Paula retrained at Pitman Training when she left the Army. She is a prime example of how learning new skills can completely change your life.
Paula completed the Executive PA Diploma and started working at Pitman Training in Dover as their training supervisor. She later became the proud owner of Pitman Training when it came up for sale. Since then, the centre has received numerous accreditations, including Investors in People, the Enterprise and Training Award for Excellence and Matrix Accreditation for providing Information, Advice and Guidance. Paula is a Microsoft Office Master Instructor and holds the Advanced Certificate in Education from Christ Church University College. She has an NVQ Level 4 in Management, is an assessor and a numeracy subject specialist.
Paula is the course advisor for Diplomas and Individual Courses and also has many years of recruitment and training experience, so feel free to book a session for advice on any aspect of improving your career prospects through gaining new skills.
