They will learn practical task based skills, increasing their confidence enabling them to hit the ground running and contribute from day one. In fact, with the returners to Work Award, they will have the highest level of office based training to help them stand out and get the job. For the corporate client we have the ability to use the necessary resources of the Pitman Group to deliver a wide range of courses at all levels, which ultimately result in less travelling time out of the office for delegates, reduced costs and a generally much more convenient training solution for our clients. We also have excellent training resources and facilities in-house to deliver the corporate tutor led seminar programme.
Whilst studying the individual will benefit from the support and guidance of our course advisors, a dedicated team of professionally trained tutors with a range of specialisations enabling them to provide support from office skills and book-keeping through to technical and design.
The support team is headed by John Sowerby; with over 35 years’ of commercial experience at senior level within large Channel Island and UK organisations, John is uniquely placed to give advice and support on those important career decisions.
Once enrolled and before training commences, we conduct a confidential induction to establish an individual study plan tailored around their availability and to get them through the course efficiently and effectively.
We would normally recommend that students attend the centre on a regular basis, usually twice a week for two hour sessions, however online access and home study options are available.
