Paula Elliott - Berelia Ltd Director and diploma advisor
Paula retrained at Pitman Training when she left the Army. She is a prime example of how learning new skills can completely change your life. Paula completed the Executive PA Diploma and started working at Pitman Training in Dover as their training supervisor. She later became the proud owner of Pitman Training when it came up for sale. Since then, the centre has received numerous accreditations, including Investors in People, the Enterprise and Training Award for Excellence and Matrix Accreditation for providing Information, Advice and Guidance.
Paula is a Microsoft Office Master Instructor and holds the Advanced Certificate in Education from Christ Church University College. She has an NVQ Level 4 in Management, is an assessor and a numeracy subject specialist.
Paula is the course advisor for Diplomas and Individual Courses and also has many years of recruitment and training experience, so feel free to book a session for advice on any aspect of improving your career prospects through gaining new skills.
Kiri Edwards - Centre Manager
Kiri is the centre’s leading supervisor for Microsoft Office and Accounts courses. She holds the Business IT Diploma and is a Microsoft Office Specialist in Word and Outlook. Kiri also holds the European Computer Driving Licence and has 5 years of book keeping experience using Sage.
Kiri has completed the Advanced Certificate in Education and was a key team member when Pitman Training gained the Matrix Accreditation for Information, Advice and Guidance.
Kiri is also the centre’s literacy support specialist and is very approachable and available for reviews and one to one support. She is here to help you!
Jade Keam – Training Supervisor
Jade is the newest member of our team. She was one of our students recently when she came to improve her maths skills and gain a Level 2 qualification. After completing her Degree in Media, Jade started working as a teaching assistant at a school in Canterbury. Jade has taken to her new role like a duck to water. Jade will plan your training sessions and help you to progress. She is very approachable, kind and helpful. Towards the end of your training, Jade will also help you with your CV and job applications. She keeps herself updated with local vacancies and will make sure you don’t miss out on an opportunity that you are suitable for.
Christopher Minton – Apprentice
Chris is working towards a Business Administration NVQ as he completes his 12 months as an apprentice. He ensures that all the administration of setting up diplomas and courses is carried out before you arrive for your first training session.
Chloe Edwards – Receptionist
Chloe joined the Pitman Training team in 2013 as an apprentice and has also completed a Pitman Training Business IT Diploma. Chloe manages 2 databases and the student resources diary and will happily make bookings for you on the phone or at reception. Chloe has recently achieved her NVQ in Business Administration.
