Pitman Training Aberdeen is part of the UK’s longest run and well respected Pitman Training Group. Located in the heart of the beautiful Granite City, we are here to help you unlock your potential! Aberdeen is nicknamed the ‘Oil Capital of Europe’ and several oil majors and independents are building new global offices in the city.

How to find us
Ideally situated in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, we are based at 469 Union Street, close to Holburn Junction. We are on the first floor and access to a chairlift is available, should it be required. There are plenty of parking spaces available only a few minutes’ walk from our centre. All the main bus routes to and from Aberdeen pass our door and we are only a 5-10 minute walk from Aberdeen Train Station.

About Us and Our Team
Pitman Training Aberdeen is run by centre manager Iain Hossack along with course advisors Faye Wilson and Tracey Forbes. Together, the Pitman Training Aberdeen team provides a wealth of knowledge and experience. We pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere, always offering support and encouragement to all our students throughout their learning and development.
Our training centre provides students with a bright and fully equipped, modern learning environment in the centre of Aberdeen. Close to all local transport links and amenities, we are based on Union Street, an ideal location for individuals and local businesses looking for quality training solutions.
It is extremely important to us that all of our students study the correct course; a course that will help improve their job prospects or climb the career ladder. Our course advisors are delighted to meet with you to discuss your learning requirements, in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Faye Wilson is an excellent client-facing individual. Faye possesses a natural ability to quickly establish a rapport with Pitman Training Aberdeen students. CV writing and Interviewing Techniques are two of Faye’s principal strengths and she takes a great deal of time providing advice and guidance to students to ensure they stand out from the crowd!
Tracey Forbes has a positive, customer driven approach. Tracey is able to embrace challenges given to her with a high degree of professionalism and efficiency. Tracey is committed to providing excellent customer service to all of Pitman Training Aberdeen students. She supports and encourages students from their initial inductions right through to being awarded with their qualification.
