What does a medical secretary do?

Medical secretaries (also known as ‘medical administrative assistants’) provide administration support in dynamic medical environments. This can include areas such as hospitals, GP surgeries and private clinics. Previous secretarial experience is often required before learning to become a medical secretary. Knowledge of the medical sector, medical terminology in particular, is also highly valued.
