When Carol Belsom came to us here in Pitman Training Canterbury, she had just been made redundant from her sales assistant job. She decided to study the Foundation in Finance Diploma with us and we received a lovely letter from her recently giving us an update on how she’s getting on… 

“My first interview was within the same week as I finished the course, and was immediately offered a position dealing with VAT & Management Accounts at a local accountancy firm. At the interview, they were very impressed with the qualifications gained. Not only what the qualifications were but that they were Pitman qualifications.“

She continued “Whilst serving my notice from that first role I was approached by a local motorcycle dealer, asking if I would be interested in a position to keep their accounts up to a standard acceptable to the Company’s accountants. I was interviewed by the Accountants who were again very impressed that the qualifications gained were Pitman’s. I was offered the job and started in September.

“I must thank you and all your staff for the help and encouragement during my studies. Not only do I now have a job in accounts, but back into the motorcycle trade, which I have always enjoyed.
