After recently starting a new job with the National Innovation Centre for Ageing, Joanna was sent to Pitman Training to develop skills to use in her new role.

“I’ve always enjoyed learning new skills and being able to help people. So, when I found out I would be studying the Adobe Creative Cloud Award at Pitman I was so excited. The course from Pitman has allowed me to expand my knowledge base greatly. It’s also given me an excellent opportunity to progress within my role, and to work towards developing a career.

“The course offered me the ability to study at my own pace and in any environment. I could study at home, the centre or from work. I’ve loved progressing through the course, learning new skills, practising them at every stage and being able to apply them to my everyday job.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had some huge personal hurdles when it came to studying. Pitman checked in on me to make sure I was okay, the emails always made me smile, and it’s been really nice to know someone understands and is there to offer support with your studies.”
