Suzie studied the Executive PA Diploma with Pitman Training.
Here is what she had to say about how she found the route to her dream career: –
“I have always been one of those people who never really knew what they wanted to do. When I was a child I wanted to be a nurse. Then I realised I wasn’t great with blood. I did a Law degree and then realised that wasn’t what I wanted to do either. After graduation I embarked upon a retail management career but 9 years in I decided that too wasn’t the career for me. One day I decided that I wanted to be a PA. Getting into the field was really challenging as I encountered the vicious cycle of needing experience but if no-one will give you a chance, how do you get the experience? A recruiter talked to me about Pitman Training and after doing some research I decided to take the plunge and started the Executive PA Diploma.
This turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. Soon after starting I was offered a temporary PA role with Macmillan Cancer Support. 4 months later I was offered the permanent role of Executive Assistant and Administrative Lead at Cancer Research UK. I absolutely love my job and I am 100% certain I found the career for me. The diploma was fantastic, taught me many skills and I was awarded a Distinction. I would highly recommend Pitman Training to anyone starting or wanting to progress their administrative career.”
