"I am an ex-pat English Language teacher/translator living in Parma, Italy. Realising that my word processing skills weren’t up to the mark, I started investigating possible courses. I chose Pitman Training due to its longstanding national and international reputation for quality.
I was excited to learn about their distance-learning option which was ideal for my situation. I arranged a preliminary needs-analysis visit to Nottingham (which was the nearest to my hometown Derby) where I met the Director and my Course Supervisor. I was very impressed by their professionalism and friendly reassurance. I returned a week later to do a short induction course and collect the work-manual.
I am currently back in Italy enjoying working through the units at my own pace, safe in the knowledge that my Course Supervisor is only a phonecall or email away should I run into difficulty or have any questions. The course itself is clear, well-designed and user-friendly (even for a distance-learning novice like myself).
