From the first guidance meeting, Meg was attracted by the different modules she could learn and opted for the Executive PA Diploma, as it had core courses she was looking for. She also liked the flexibility to add some context such as HR Essentials as electives. Her Grandmother had trained with Pitman many years ago and she felt confident about the quality of the training.
As Meg is not near to the Reading centre, she found it very helpful to be able to book a webinar. It meant that she met with an advisor at the start and saw examples of the course. This made it feel much more personal.
Being an ‘early bird’ Meg found it worked really well to do training at home, before she started work. Although she was doing her learning at a distance, Meg was glad that she could always ask for help from the staff in the office. Having a training method which included an e-book, audio instruction and practicals to do alongside was really good.
She started her new job while she was training, and her PA training has been already very useful. In the future she sees herself being able to diversify into Marketing or HR thanks to her new skills set.
