About this course


In three modules of Microsoft Office 2010 training, this course takes you through the new interfaces and features of Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2010; taking your existing skills and bringing them right up to date with the very latest version of Microsoft Office.


This fast version of Microsoft Office 2010 training breaks down the learning process into quick and easily digestible chunks, complete in only six hours. Module one covers Microsoft Word 2010 and includes topics such as SmartArt. Module two takes you through the very latest Excel 2010 features including the new opening screen, data analysis with sparklines and other features such as the pivot table slicer. Module three focuses on PowerPoint 2010 and its exciting new features; transitions, animation and editing video.


Our flexible MS Office training also allows you to work at your own pace; you'll also be given a workbook, which will stay with you as a handy reference guide once you have concluded your training. Of course, you'll then have the power of the Pitman Training name on your CV.

There are three modules in this Microsoft Office 2010 Fast! course: -


Module One: The Microsoft Office 2010 interface,  minimise/expand the ribbon, text effects , navigation pane – using find, image editing, remove a background, SmartArt – using pictures, paste preview, backstage view, create a new group on the ribbon, delete a group.


Module Two: The Excel 2010 opening screen,  Backstage view, recover unsaved documents customize the ribbon, data analysis with sparklines, new features in conditional formatting, the pivot table slicer, managing versions.


Module Three: The PowerPoint 2010 opening screen, transitions, animation effects, enhancing photos, editing videos, bookmarking a video, trimming a video, converting text and photos into SmartArt graphics, using sections, different ways to save a presentation.

Through studying this course, you will be able to confidently find your way around the Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2010 programs.


Prior to starting this course you will need experience of using Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007.
