Module 1 – Setting the Scene – What is social media and what are the benefits? Why use social media? What worries you and excites you? Taking a strategic approach.

Module 2 – Review – A review of how social media marketing fits into current marketing activities.

Module 3 – Aims and Audience – The reasons for using social media. Identifying social media audience groups. Understanding keywords.

Module 4 – Channel – You will explore a range of social media channels including blogs, newsletters, niche tools, videos, podcasts, forums, and the leading social platforms.

Module 5 – Content – You will think about what you are going to say on social media – choosing content or relationship marketing, content ideas, content plans, and re-using content.

Module 6 – Resources – Let’s take a look at social media policy, the risks of social media, and crisis management.

Module 7 – Measure – Ensuring a return on investment.
